CERTUSS Dampfautomaten GmbH & Co. KG has announced its transaction with the Japanese Miura Co, Ltd., a global player for steam generators. As a medium-sized family-owned company, CERTUSS is thus laying the decisive foundations to further expand its position as a provider of customized steam generation solutions in the global market.

The CERTUSS brand and all production facilities and headquarters in Germany, the UK, and the USA, including their workforces, will remain in place. Miura and CERTUSS are also focusing on continuity in the management team: Mathias Brauner will remain with the company as Managing Director. Conrad and Robert Brauner as well as Thomas Hamacher and Holger Deimann will continue to work as division managers in their traditional areas.

Miura Co, Ltd. will become the sole shareholder of CERTUSS Dampfautomaten GmbH & Co. KG. The CERTUSS brand and all production facilities and company headquarters in Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States, including all employees, will be retained. Miura and CERTUSS are also committed to continuity in the management team: Mathias Brauner will remain with the company as Managing Director. We will continue to sell our products in our international markets and work with our local sales and service partners. For us as a provider of custom solutions, Miura’s products give us additional options to meet the needs of our customers.
Germany:
Maintenance and service orders will be carried out as usual by CERTUSS Krefeld.
International:
We plan to continue working with our established local service partners around the
world under existing agreements.
Yes, the name CERTUSS and the company itself with its familiar structures will remain.
Yes, the German CERTUSS production facilities in Krefeld and Zusmarshausen will remain fully operational.
CERTUSS is officially part of the Japanese Miura Co., Ltd. group since May 1, 2024. Nevertheless, we want to continue our culture of living the traditional values of a family business. And we are very confident that we will be able to do so – after all, both the management team and the CERTUSS workforce will remain the same.
CERTUSS is still represented on the market with its products and will continue to invest in the development of innovations. In the medium term, Miura’s products offer us the opportunity to respond even more individually to our customers’ requirements.
